When I began creating this app, I knew it needed a name that reflected its purpose: something soft, beautiful, and meaningful — a word that felt like a warm breath, a gentle reminder, or a quiet moment of clarity. After weeks of exploring ideas, “Koraya” emerged as the name that captured everything I wanted this app to represent.
The first part, “Kor” or “Kora,” appears in various languages as a reference to the heart or the core — the deepest part of who we are. That felt right, because the entire purpose of this app is to help women reconnect with their inner strength, truth, and worth. The heart has always been central to my work and my coaching, so seeing this meaning reflected in the name felt beautifully aligned.
The second part, “Aya,” held a soft, uplifting energy. Across cultures, “aya” has been used to describe light, beauty, soul, design, and even a bird in flight. All words that evoke growth, possibility, and self-expression. I loved the idea that the name carried a sense of something rising, expanding, or turning toward the light.
Together, Koraya expresses the spirit of the app:
“light from the heart,” “beauty from within,” and “your true self rising into possibility.”
It’s simple, feminine, memorable, and deeply aligned with the message behind everything I do. And with the tagline “… from the heart”, it becomes a name that doesn’t just label an app — it expresses the intention behind it. Koraya is not a tool or a task; it is a companion. A daily moment designed to bring you back to yourself, gently and lovingly, from the heart.
